Best restaurants in Fethiye Turkey | Where to eat in Fethiye?

As a Gourmet who loves tasting different flavors in Fethiye, I visited many restaurants that are well-known and recommended for their food. I can say that each of them has its own unique characteristics. The ones that impressed me the most in terms of presentation, hospitality, and taste are listed here for you.
For those wondering what to eat in Fethiye or where the best food places are, this article will be an important guide. Factors such as presentation + taste + hospitality + friendliness + service quality + price and hygiene played an important role in my choices. Here is my list of the best food places in Fethiye:
1. Taşköprü Adana Kebab
I’m sure you’re surprised to see Adana Kebab at the top of the list in Fethiye. Yes, I was also surprised when I went there upon recommendations. But once I tasted their kebab, I truly felt like I was in Adana. Why?
First of all, the restaurant was founded by two partners from Adana and Adıyaman, determined to introduce authentic regional flavors to Fethiye.

When I entered the restaurant, I saw the chef preparing the minced meat with a cleaver for Adana Dürüm. This honestly surprised me, since nowadays it’s mostly done with machines. But Hacı Usta from Adana explained that hand-chopped meat is the most important factor for true flavor.
I also learned some interesting things. The spices and village peppers come from Adıyaman, lamb liver from Gaziantep, şırdan (stuffed tripe) from Adana, and chickpea-fermented ayran from Silivri. And even more impressive: along with Adana, meat, chicken, liver, and lamb skewers, they also serve complimentary items such as fındık lahmacun, roasted eggplant, tabbouleh salad, handmade çiğ köfte, roasted peppers, garlic, tomatoes, spicy ezme, sumac onions, hot pickled peppers, and garlic haydari. Including these, the price I paid for Adana Kebab was only 500 TL (July 2025). The chef’s words were: “For us, it’s more important that everyone gets to taste this flavor than to make profit.”

The Adana Kebab I had at Taşköprü Adana Kebab was far beyond the ones I’ve tasted before. I can even say I’ve never come across such flavor even in Adana itself. On top of that, the prices are incredibly reasonable. I also highly recommend trying their oven-baked items like pita and Antep lahmacun.

2. Yengeç Restaurant
Located at Çalış Beach, Yengeç Restaurant is a favorite for seafood lovers. The menu features daily fresh fish, fried shrimp, and octopus salad. Especially the yogurt fish meze is a great option for those looking for a unique taste.

The seaside location of the place adds a delightful atmosphere to your meal. Dining here in the evening with the gentle breeze from the sea is truly relaxing. Ideal if you want to escape the crowds and enjoy a peaceful dinner. Prices may feel a little high for budget-sensitive visitors.
Address: Karagözler, Fethiye, Muğla, 48300
3. Ada Restaurant Şövalye Island
Ada Restaurant may be hard to reach, but dining in the natural beauty of Şövalye Island is an enjoyable experience. Even taking the boat to the restaurant is an adventure itself. The menu is mostly seafood, prepared with the freshest ingredients. Of course, the prices are a bit on the higher side.

Especially at sunset, having dinner with a sea view creates an unforgettable experience. If you’re planning a romantic dinner, this is the perfect spot. For those wanting to fully embrace the peaceful atmosphere of Fethiye, this place is a great choice.

4. Babadağ 1700 Restaurant
Babadağ 1700 Restaurant offers the most stunning views of Fethiye. Dining at high altitude, with fresh mountain air, is an unmatched experience. The menu highlights meat dishes, pasta, and salads. Although it’s far from the city center, it’s ideal for those who want to see different places.

Here, enjoying your meal with wine at sunset is an unforgettable experience. Even the fast-food options served with the view are tasty. A peaceful spot surrounded by nature. Of course, getting here takes some time.
5. Nazilli Pide
Nazilli Pide is one of the most beloved spots in Fethiye with its crispy stone-oven baked pides. Cheese, minced meat, and kaşar cheese pide options appeal to every palate. The dough is rolled out thin and the aroma from the oven is mouthwatering. It wasn’t too crowded when I visited, but the ingredients and flavor definitely impressed me. The owners are from Pakistan and are attentive to their guests.

The çoban salad and ayran served alongside complement the pide perfectly. Whether for lunch or dinner, it’s a great choice for pide lovers.
6. Hilmi Restaurant
Hilmi Restaurant has earned a reputation as one of Fethiye’s best seafood restaurants. With its fresh fish options and carefully prepared mezes, it manages to satisfy guests. Calamari and shrimp casserole are among the favorites for seafood lovers. The sea bass fillet is also fresh and skillfully cooked.

The spacious atmosphere and seaside location enhance your dining pleasure. Especially in the evening, dining with a sunset view is a whole new experience. If you’re a seafood enthusiast, Hilmi Restaurant should definitely be on your list.
7. Paşa Kebab Fethiye
Paşa Kebab is one of the most popular kebab spots in Fethiye. In addition to classics like Adana, Urfa, and zırh kebab, their lamb tandır is also cooked and served to perfection.

The spacious and friendly atmosphere enhances the enjoyment of your meal. The complimentary içli köfte and meze varieties are also highly appreciated. Compared to Taşköprü Adana Kebab, the only downside is slightly higher prices. Other than that, it’s a great spot.
8. Mozaik Bahçe
Mozaik Bahçe represents Southeastern cuisine in Fethiye. Here you can find specialties like hummus, içli köfte, and zahter salad. The atmosphere is warm and authentic.

Even the presentation of the mezes is enough to whet your appetite. For mains, I recommend trying Ali Nazik or one of their kebab varieties. Prices, however, may again be a bit high for some.
9. Girida Port
For those who want to sit by the sea and enjoy freshly prepared fish, Girida Port is ideal. Dishes like calamari, shrimp, and marinated sea bass are prepared with care.

I especially recommend trying their grilled octopus. The variety of meze plates followed by the main course turns this into a full feast.
10. Mancero Kitchen
For those seeking a steakhouse experience, Mancero is a must-visit. It’s a paradise where meats are marinated with special sauces.

The tomahawk and tenderloin are particularly popular. Their presentations and service are highly professional.
Fethiye Dining Guide Final Note
Of course, there may be other places in Fethiye that excel in taste. But as a gourmet, I listed the restaurants I personally visited and enjoyed. Among them, Taşköprü Adana Kebab truly amazed me, both for the owners, the service, and the flavors offered. Even when leaving Fethiye, I stopped by one last time.
